1. Do we take insurance for our services, testing or products?

Certain Insurance can be used for laboratory testing.  Please check with us for details.

2. What are the steps in seeing us?

If you plan on visiting us at the office, we will send you the necessary questionnaires prior to your first visit. During your initial consultation, we will use the opportunity to get to know your lifestyle patterns, your sleep schedules, your eating habits and your perceived stress level. After we get a good sense of who you are and what you are hoping to achieve with us, we will suggest an appropriate program designed especially for you that includes an eating plan and supplement packs as a part of an integrated package to help you reach your goals. During each follow-up visit, we will make sure that you are on track on your program, change or tweak your plan when necessary and motivate you to do even better.

3. Can you use our testing services without purchasing products?

Absolutely. We will be able to recommend the appropriate tests after your initial consult and interpret your test results even if you do not purchase from our product line.

4. Can you use our products without seeing us?

Yes, you will be able to purchase from the online store the products that would be most appropriate for your needs. But we do recommend that you come see us or talk to your physician before you start using any of these products.

5. How to book an appointment with us?

Call our office to set up an appointment, book via our website, in-person, over the phone or over Skype.

6. What happens during the initial consult?

Before we can help you reach your optimal health level, we must have a good idea of who you are, your preferences and your health history. Only then, we can have a better sense of which programs would work in your favor. During the initial consult, we will ask about your habits, your current health status, your likes and dislikes to create a personalized plan for you.

7. What if I cannot visit the office for my initial consult?

At David Allen Nutrition, we already see a wide array of clients from all over the world. Geographical location has never stopped anyone from achieving his or her optimal health. If you cannot physically make it to our office, we have one-on-one sessions over the phone and Skype. No matter what you choose, you are always guaranteed private, confidential and attentive sessions at David Allen Nutrition.

8. If I am a healthy individual, will I still benefit from seeing David Allen Nutrition?

At David Allen Nutrition, we believe in bringing people to their optimal health levels. When we analyze your test results, we do not aim to have you within a specific range for your age and gender. We study your results and delineate where you can be, given your genetics and past medical history. In addition, David Allen Nutrition has always been on the preventative side of medicine. We are elated if you have taken good care of yourself thus far, but we also wish to continue to take care of you by recommending our individualized therapy packages to prevent the on-set of any disease or conditions.

9. What happens during follow-up appointments? Why are they necessary? Your journey to optimal health takes several phases. It takes time to figure out what works for your body. In addition, lab reports will not reveal everything about a person. David Allen Nutrition is unique because we employ Plan B and C if Plan A turns out to be ineffective. If you are seeing us due to a condition, it has probably taken some time for you to be at that stage of health. Just imagine. If you have been doing years of damage to your body, it will take just as long or twice as long to reverse your symptoms. However, you will often feel the difference in your mood, energy level and sleep patterns right away. The journey takes more than just one visit because we are offering a lifestyle, not a band-aid solution.
